Victims' Impact Video, Inc. (VIVD) believes that the ability to present a victim's impact statement on video during the sentencing phase of a trial and/or during an appeal or hearing is an aid that should be available to all victims of violent crime.  We believe that conveying the victim's sense of loss and despair should not be limited by the presenter's command of the language, communications skills or ability to pay.  The victim's video impact statement gives everyone an equal opportunity to make a cogent presentation.

VIVD intends to provide this vital service at no cost.  If you, or someone you know, needs this service, please call 410-517-1577 and ask for Carol Clews or fax her at 410-526-4372.  This service is available anywhere in the United States.

VIVD provides this service by calling on producers and editing facilities nationwide to contribute a portion of the edit time required to produce a victim's impact statement video.  The remainder of the edit time will be paid from funds raised by VIVD.  Contributions are tax deductible as authorized by the Internal Revenue Service and can be made to VIVD at 9722 Groffs Mill Drive, Suite 223, Owings Mills, MD  21117
